Meet Our Paw Prints From the Past.

Cain's Legacy
Cain had brought so much love, peace and serenity to my life over the past 11 years that it was only fair that I provide the same for him as his journey came to an end. I chose to take him for his last walk in our number one favorite spot to create an amazing last day together. And because legends never die, I have decided to create Cain’s Legacy to offer a safe place for others to do the same.
Cain’s Legacy will be a private tranquil property dedicated to your pup’s last experience and your last walk together. Through a combination of fields, woods, brooks, benches and bridges, you’ll be surrounded by harmonious scenery and nothing but love and understanding. There will be a photographer there as well to capture these ever so precious last moments together which will allow you to truly cherish them forever. At the end of your journey, a vet will be able to help your four legged family member cross that rainbow bridge in the most comfortable way possible. Leaving a photo and paw print in the memory barn is yet another opportunity for your dog to be cherished and honored on the wall for eternity.
Other services include having a wake and/or funeral that allows others the proper chance to pay their respects. After almost 400 people reacting to Cain’s passing within just the first 24 hours, there gets to be a space to do this. A ceremony with videos and slideshows set to music to showcase the dog’s life and all the joy and love they experienced as a reminder front and center of how good of a life they got to live. Also, instead of a standard log in guest book to sign, each guest will be asked to write their favorite memory of this dog thus creating an incredible book of memories as a loving keepsake.
The money being raised here will be going directly towards the downpayment of purchasing the property where Cain’s Legacy will reside. It is part of a 300 acre vision of safe resources for animal lovers from A-Z which is intended to have a location in every state. If Cain (or any other dog) has ever touched you in such a way that you are wanting to give back then please consider donating to this cause. Bringing our dogs dignity and grace in a way that pays it forward for many many dogs to come. We all know that they give us their whole hearts and Cain’s Legacy is a place where we can give them ours.
Abel
Abel is a 8 year old German Shepherd/Lab mix who is a real dog’s dog. He started off as a foster to get him out of an abusive situation and he just clicked so well with Cain that we simply couldn’t give him up. He enjoys his days interacting and managing the other dogs by policing their activity.
This dog will make you laugh in his goofy, clumsy ways and often times woo woos quite a bit along the way. Abel has started a career in both nose work and canine resistance training where his eagerness to please allows him to truly and easily succeed. Abel is extremely laid back and a big baby at heart but is a great and trustworthy dog with other dogs and is willing to play with them all.

Teddy
Teddy was actually a previous client’s dog who was proven to be too much for them and just wasn’t the right fit for their family. He fit in with the boys here perfectly and excelled at absolutely everything we did with him. His drivey personality and endless amounts of energy, made for the perfect sport dog. However, with that exuberance, came a lot of work as well… Not even remotely close to your “average dog”, this boy taught us more lessons than we can count and has honestly made us better owners, handlers and trainers. We trained in rally, frisbee, dock diving, agility and were the ones to watch in both obedience and barn hunt competitions. Teddy was 5 years old when he passed and although short, his life was full of quality, fun, adventure, spunk and amazing experiences together… “thank you for all you have taught us buddy!”
Huey
It is with an incredibly heavy and broken heart that we have lost our little Baby Huey. Puppy mill genetics unfortunately took him from us far, far too young.
This little dog had a big presence and defined what an emotional support dog looks like. Because of this, we are creating Happy Huey’s Rescue – “where little dogs make a big difference”.
This organization will focus specifically on pairing small dogs (under 20 lbs) with people in need of emotional support dogs. In Huey’s honor, this legacy will change the lives of so, so many in the future as we remain forever grateful for the paw prints he has left on our hearts.

Smiley
We would like to give a special thanks to our late Australian Shepherd, Smiley, who has truly touched our souls and influenced our lives like no other. Going from “too aggressive and untrainable” to an amazing therapy and blue ribbon show dog… she taught us countless life lessons and showed us what real potential is all about. She was truly a “once in a lifetime”,”heart and soul” kind of dog and we thank her for every moment we shared together!
We dedicate the business name to her registered American Kennel Club Identification “Rainforest Smiles Alot” also known as “RSA”. She is the reason why we do what we do and why we are who we are.
Smiley will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever and ever.
